Let's go sledding!

The snow is such fun, as long as I don't have to drive out to Lawrence tomorrow morning with a foot of snow to pave the way. KU doesn't cancel classes due to snow very often, though. That will be a long, scary drive if I have to go. I'll worry about that in the morning. At least I have four-wheel drive. It's rare that I'm glad to have the gas-guzzler, but it is handy on snowy days like these.

When I got home late this afternoon, I was very tempted to jump in the little lawn outside my apartment building and start making snow angels. The only thing that held me back was my lack of gloves and hat and the fact that I had turned my heat down to 60 before I left in the morning, so I knew it was going to be cold enough when I walked in the door without adding a layer of snow to my body. Brrr! I'm still a kid inside, though, so I'm itching to go out and play. Snow angels, snowball fights, sledding...so many opportunities for appendage-numbing glee! Let's go sledding this weekend - who's with me? C'mon, it will be an adventure. Cold, yes...but also fun.
