Monkey Talk

After helping Amanda learn how to post photos to her blog last night, I decided that I need to start posting photos again, too. And why stop at that? So, I revamped the blog a bit and made a new banner for it. I don't know if that's the technical term for whatever it is that's at the top there, but that's what I did. I heart photoshop.

The lovely monkey up there is called Molly. I met Molly last April while standing in line for free ice cream at Ben & Jerry's. Amanda and I decided to take advantage of the free ice cream day at B&J's, and so did a lot of other people...that was a long line. The people standing in line in front of us decided to bring along their pet monkey. As soon we saw Molly the monkey, Amanda and I looked at each other and said/sang the BNL lyrics, in unison, "Haven't you always wanted a monkey?" Yeah, we're that cool.

You can't tell from the photo up top, but Molly was quite stylish. She wore cowprint diapers, which we decided made her rather sassy. Thus the term "sassy pants." I just happened to have my camera with me that day, so there ya go...the mascot of my blog. Here's her full picture, cowprint diaper and all:
