Offensive

This has been a fun semester so far. Once again, I've enjoyed being a TA for the Media & Society class. Our discussion today was about ABC censoring the Rolling Stones lyrics during the Superbowl halftime show. One of the students said that there isn't any music act that they could find for the superbowl that wouldn't offend anyone. Somebody would find something offensive about just about anything. Then another student said that maybe the Teletubbies wouldn't be offensive. To which I responded, "Whatever, man...that Tinky-Winky is a bad influence." I love that I get paid to talk about the media with students and get to be a smart-ass while I do it.
