Deadlines
When did spring decide to show up? Not that I'm complaining - it's great. I decided that it is much too nice outside to be trapped in the library or the GTA office this afternoon, so I've taken my 50+ pound backpack outside to do a little "work." So far all the work I've really done is to read blogs. I think my marathon-project-finishing session from the past few days has me burned out.The saddest part about my project-burnout is that I got to my magazine publishing class today only to find out that our project deadline got pushed back to this Sunday at 9pm (an odd time for a project to be due, I know). Apparently I didn't get that memo...the prof sent out an email about it, but I did not get it - or I didn't bother to read it. One of those two. Oops. So, I stressed myself out last night and emailed in the project at 9:30 pm and thought I was late. Turns out I was way early.
I'm thinking this could be a blessing in disguise, though. Now I won't have to worry about getting that thing done this weekend. And it looks like I might be going to Manhattan this weekend to watch KU beat K-State, so I'm very glad that I have that project done already. Sometimes when I mess up, it works out for the best. Sometimes.
