Pigeons

While doing some work here at my desk, I looked out my window at the beautiful scenery of the parking lot. Moments later, a pigeon perched itself on the ledge of my balcony (which is right outside the window here at my desk). I enjoyed the distraction of this ordinary bird and continued to watch him.

At one point, he turned around and stared right at me, cocking his little pigeon head to the side before turning back around on the ledge. He sat there for a while, cooing every now and then and puffing up his feathers (must be cold outside). I found it quite charming and was thinking about how cute pigeons are...and then he pooped on my balcony.

"Hey, stop that!" I yelled at him, but he ignored me. He even did it again and cooed even louder, just to mock me I'm sure. I didn't think he was so cute after that. Punk.

So, now I've added pigeons to my On Notice list. Quit crapping on my balcony, you nefarious little birds. And leave my car alone while you're at it.
