The best song for a parking lot

Oh man...the weekend is over and it's back to business as usual. I did want to mention one of the highlights of my weekend: a free Counting Crows concert. My favorite part about the concert was when they sang "Big Yellow Taxi." I couldn't stop laughing about it because there we were, in a huge parking lot, on Earth Day, listening to them sing these lyrics:

"Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone
They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot."

Classic. To their credit, Adam (the lead singer) did say after the song that they were told to sing that, even though he thought it was weird to be singing that in a parking lot, and that perhaps the higher-ups who requested they sing that song never actually listened to the lyrics.
