Research is fun!

I think I know I've found my calling when I actually LOVE doing a particular assignment and am truly excited about carrying it out. Today I'm putting together my qualitative research proposal for my research methods class. I think for my thesis I'll be doing qualitative research (as opposed to quantitative), so this is essentially the beginnings of what will be the research methods section of my thesis. So, today I've been rereading our textbooks and reading other research sources, etc. And it has been so much fun coming up with and now articulating this part of my research and what I will be doing. Just a few minutes ago, I actually kissed one of my research books and said, "I love you!" after reading one of its chapters. Yes, I know I'm weird.

One other thing: Janelle, I just noticed that you commented on my post about the younger guy. I enjoyed your comment and wrote a comment in reply...just wanted to let you know that. :-)
