Eyes and ears

I'm wearing my new favorite accessory right now: a pair of reading glasses that I got on clearance for $3. Love them. I have 20/10 vision, so I've never needed glasses, but I've always secretly wanted to wear them. For years I've been waiting for my eyes to go bad so I can get glasses, but alas I can still see perfectly well.

But now I don't have to wait. I can wear my new reading glasses. Okay, so they make anything farther than 10 feet away look blurry. And I get a little motion-sickness if I wear them while I'm walking. Minor setbacks. I can wear them comfortably when I'm reading and/or on the computer, though, which is what I do with the majority of my days.

Right now I'm sitting here in my living room with my baggy pj pants and an old t-shirt on, my hair pulled back in a bumpy, frizzy ponytail, wearing no makeup and in desperate need of a shower. But I have my superhot reading glasses on, therefore I look damn sexy. Apparently the glasses not only magnify things in my direct line of vision...they also give me delusions of hotness. Sweet.

Speaking of my senses, my ears are still ringing from the Guster concert I went to last night. It was an amazing show. They totally rock. I need to go to more live music shows. It's one of my favorite things to do, especially with an awesome band like that. Maybe I should invest in some earplugs, though.
