Brrr

This morning I had to climb into the driver's seat of my car from the passenger side. My door was frozen shut. The damn thing wouldn't budge and, conveniently, my seat belt was stuck in the door as well. And I haven't had any coffee yet today. This morning hasn't gotten off to a great start.

But, things are getting better. The drive wasn't bad. Now that it's cold outside, I get to wear my fun new scarf/shawl that I just finished knitting. And eventually the driver's side door warmed up enough for me to get out of my car once I got to campus, no awkward climbing over to the passenger's side necessary. Now I just need to get me some caffeine. It's the drug of choice, y'all.

Oh, yes, good news on the homefront: I found out from my mom last night that the doctor didn't find any cancer in my dad's colon this time around. I'm feeling much less stressed now that I know that. I think the waiting was bothering me more than I realized.
